Nimitta is a Sanskrit word that means catalyst.

No Matter how we are related or unrelated, we are the catalysts for each other. And so is this life, a catalyst in the journey of awareness. While being a conscious catalyst for you, the purpose of Nimitta Life is to help you bring more awareness to this truth of interconnectedness and become the creator of cohesive families, cohesive systems, and cohesive world.

SONY DSC

Dr. Komal Smriti is a Coach, Mentor and Facilitator. She is certified by International Coaching Federation (PCC) and European Mentoring and Coaching Council (Senior Practitioner). She is also a certified Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) assessor. She studied Business Management (MBA) and received her doctorate in the area of Relationship Management. Starting as a lecturer in Management, she went on to work in Corporate for 14 years, before choosing to become a professional coach in 2018.

Komal’s coaching experience began while she worked in corporate. She started by developing cultural coaching program for her expatriate clients. She loved the coaching space and was inspired to learn more and offer more in the space of personal and professional development and transformation. She is a curious learner and explored various dimensions of coaching – Positive psychology; Neuro Linguistic Programming;  Somatic; and Ontological enquiry. And her personal quest brought her to the exploration and appreciation of the ancient philosophies, which she continues to learn from and bring in her coaching practice as well. Ancient wisdom inspires her coaching philosophy.

She is a mother of two kind and creative children and she believes that her motherhood has taught her the most and brought her true liberation from self. When she is not coaching she can be found cooking; reading a book; writing; out for a walk; enjoying poetry; Sufi music; having random conversations; creating something (her latest skill being macramé); or just sitting in silence with herself. In short, she is a person of several interests and is quite content even in her own company. She is driven by the personal values of Excellence, Grace, and Integrity that keep her grounded and energized.

Komal is an active member of ICF Toronto Chapter and volunteers on several committees including the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee. She volunteers for the Youth Coaching and Mentoring and is also a volunteer coach with Up With Woman (an organization on a mission to help recently homeless and at-risk women build a sustainable pathway out of Poverty).

Komal enjoys training and mentoring new coaches as the associate trainer with Coacharya. She coaches Corporate Leaders and collaborates with organizations of repute.
